Camassia Cusickii

Camassia Cusickii

A fantastic variety that can be traced back to it's origins in North American, where it grew in the fertile plains owned by the Native Americans. These perennials will naturalise very well if left over the years and will bear star like flowers of wisteria-blue, carried on long upright stems. Ht 120cm. 14cm+ bulbs supplied.

Soil Type

Fertile, well drained, humus rich soil

Camassia bulbs should be planted at least 10cm deep in fertile, well drained, humus rich soil.
Once planted the bulbs can be left undisturbed to naturalise. Take care to ensure that there is good drainage in the soil and avoid the area becoming water-logged. In areas of extreme cold in winter, it is always a good idea to apply some mulch as protection.
