  • Deadhead regularly to prolong flowering.
Planting

Plant on arrival with enough room for roots to establish.

Soil Type

Humus rich, moist soil

Unpack immediately upon arrival and give them a little water if needed. If potting up into containers, use a balanced compost (that is not too peaty) as it is inclined to produce a hard crust if allowed to dry. We recommend a John Innes Compost No 2.
If you wish to over-winter your plants, lift them after flowering and store in pots/tray in a frost free place such as a greenhouse, frame or shed (and keep soil dry around the roots).
