Begonia Superba Bolero produce fabulous plants that reach just 20-30cm, smothered in giant flowers in a light orange hue. Its huge flowers and compact habit makes it an eye-catching addition for the front of the border or pots on the patio. Plant three tubers per pot for a stunning display. An ideal subject for cut flowers for the vase. Flowers June to October. 4/5cm tubers supplied.

Begonia tubers can be planted from February onwards. Plant them into shallow boxes containing a mixture of loam, leaf mould and sand. Top with a good topsoil that's mixed with one-sixth of manure to form the basis. Also add leaf mould and bonemeal. A s so on as shoots appear, you can pot them up in 15cm pots.
Begonias are particularly useful for bedding purposes. As soon as any danger of frost is passed, transfer to their final position in the garden, spaced around 30cm apart. Begonias are great lovers of moisture. Water regularly morning and evening through dry weather.
