Gardenia jasminoides 'Kleim's Hardy' is the original frost hardy evergreen Gardenia. Highly fragrant single white flowers are produced throughout the summer; there are very few shrubs in the garden which can rival this Gardenia for fragrance. Growing to just 80cm, this compact shrub is ideally suited to a patio pot or a sheltered border. May require some winter protection in areas of the country with extreme winters. 2 litre pot supplied.

Plant on arrival straight into the border or patio container. This dwarf shrub will tolerate most types of well drained and fertile soil, and will thrive best in a sheltered location. Plant with a little organic matter and keep the soil just moist during the summer period.
You can use a liquid feed during the flowering period to encourage larger blooms. Pruning can be done at the end of the cold winter when the frost has cleared.
